Hunter Valley

We went to the Hunter Valley, the big wine district in NSW. We spent two days in the region, which is really pretty, but it was freezing cold when we were there. We got to drink a lot of wine and got to see some nice sights. It looks really nice up there, and we want to go back in the summer when the grapes are on the vines and it doesn't look quite as barren as it did now. The wines were so-so, some good, MANY just average, but we ended up buying a few bottles of sweet white wine and I also bought a bottle of 1978 vintage port... I will save that one for a special occasion :)
