Seems like today is all about animals here. But anyway, just bringing a true story from Sydney Airport, where someone (a smuggler with cold feet?) left a snake in the ladies' room a few days back. The poor snake was creeping around the cubicles all on his own, longing to his home somewhere in South East Asia. But I just imagine the face of the first person who discovered the brightloy coloured python:) Now the Customs are considering what to do with the poor snake, and hopefully a zoo or reptile park will take care of it - like they usually do with the crocodiles that sometimes show up in ponds and creeks in and around Sydney. The last month or so two young crocodiles, one freshwater ("freshie") and one saltwater ("salty") have been caught while roaming free here in Sydney. And while it is highly unlikely that they would have survived the winter, I am sure many people are happy that they are now safely behind bars in the reptile park.
